Tests & Results

If you are asked by your Doctor or Nurse to collect a specimen at home you should be given the correct specimen bottle and collection bag. After collecting the specimen please ensure that both the bottle and bag are securely sealed. This will help reduce any risk of infection. Specimens should be clearly labelled and handed in at reception by 4pm at the latest

You will be told by whoever orders the test when and how to obtain your results. Please note Receptionists are not allowed to give results unless instructed by a doctor.
